ROTS II trenched its first 10” 4,500 metre long pipeline in May 2002 and together with the 350,000 metres of FO cable trenched in the Northsea and the Baltic Sea the system has proven to be a reliable and capable. A trenching speed of up to 1300 m /hr in sandy soilswidth=150> has been experienced. With the purposely build LARS system ROTS II can be launched and recovered in adverse weather thus minimising the weather downtime.

The success story of ROTS II is based on many years of experince in the business, and two vital items are of most importance for its success; the patented sword and the subsea high pressure water pumps. Our sword technology enables us to alter the configuration remotely, the depth tilt and width (X,Y and Z axis).

.................................................................................................................................
* Two single wheel centrifugal pumps
* Separate cooling system for each pump
* Water pressure up to 19 bar
* Total water capacity 1.000 m3/hour
* Separate conditioning monitoring of each pump
* Alarm with autoshutdown for each system
